About Jörg Döring
Jörg Döring's works are created by combining different techniques such as oil painting, serigraphy, and collage. Starting from his personal body of imagery inspired by Pop Art, the artist develops his own stories on canvas, often thwarting their starting points. The results are fresh and, in many respects, multi-layered works of art that testify to the artist's wilfulness and free spirit.
Born in the German Ruhr area in the sixties, Döring now lives and works in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf. His artistic work has been shown in over 250 exhibitions to date and has received great international attention.
Graphic artwork in the making of which the artist combines at least two graphic production techniques.
